Corsica: the island of beauty
Corsica is an island in the Mediterranean Sea. It is called the island of beauty because it offers sublime landscapes made of wild coves, amazing landscapes, and breathtaking beaches. Among the most beautiful are:
Bay of Rondinara
It has a perfect half-moon shape and is a beach bathed in calm and transparent waters. Going up to the north of the island, the conformation of the beaches changes in an alternation between rocks, headlands, and granite islets. The beach does not offer many services, and this is why it has preserved its beauty.
Tonnara beach
This place is ideal for surfing and sailing lovers, as its location allows a strong presence of wind. The beach is characterized by pink sand, which together with the rocks create a magnificent contrast that enhances the blue of the sea.
Girolata beach
This beach is one of the most emblematic places of Corsica because it is located in the Gulf of Girolata, at the southern end of the reserve of Scandola. The access is only possible by sea or through the trails in the mountains, as there are no roads.
