Whitehaven Beach, Australia's paradisiacal beach
Whitehaven is located in Australia, in the Queensland region and it is part of Whitsundays, an archipelago of 74 islands, most of which are uninhabited.
It is an absolutely stunning location, a paradisiacal beach, which ranks among the most beautiful beaches in the world.
A beautiful stretch of white sand, 7 km long, surrounded by breathtaking nature and washed by swirls of turquoise, blue and green water. A true paradise on earth!
But where does the sand color come from? The light color is due to its composition: 98% quartz, resistant to the heat of the sun rays. It is also an environmentally friendly beach, protecting the environment to the point that smoking or bringing pets is not allowed.
How to get to Whitehaven?
A first option would be getting to the closest airport, Whitsunday Coast Airport and take a bus from there to Arlie Beach. Then you can reach your destination by plane or boat.
However, if you wish to have a breathtaking and unique experience we recommend flying over the Whitsundays islands by helicopter, with private tours and excursions.
When is the best time to visit?
The best period to visit is from May to October in the southern hemisphere, where both humidity and heat lessens.
